One of the guys I was at training with gave me some free tickets to Universal Studios. The place we stayed was like a 5 minute drive there. We were in the heart of studio ville. I passed the WB studios, Disney Studios, and something else, I can't remember now, in my 10 minute commute. Our last Saturday we went. It definitely is not built for little kids. There wasn't much for us to do with babies, but we still had fun anyway. There was a big Minion area that was super fun for Luke.
We took a studio tour and it scared the bejeebers out of Luke, poor thing. To top it all off, he got wet. He does NOT like to get slashed/sprayed/squirted EVER. I found the tour interesting.
We saw a show of the "animal actors." It was all the animal trainers for movies. They put on quite a show with trained cats, dogs, rats, chickens, birds, and even a pig. Luke loved it. I found it pretty cool how they train them.
They had a playground area in the middle of the line for a ride, and he just stood there at first. Without the big kids, he really is not an adventuresome kid at all. He opted to stand in line with us instead, and it was a long hot line.
After the ride, he wanted to play on the playground, but NOT the splash pad.
A fun way to spend a Saturday.
